has worked in law enforcement 35 years. He worked as a School Resource Officer for 12 years. Currently, Lamar is a Families in Need of Services Officer (FINS) for the 35th Judicial Court, Grant Parish. He also serves as a Schools and Community Program Coordinator for the Grant Parish School Board. Lamar is a commissioned deputy sheriff with the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office. His duties include planning and coordinating youth camps for Grant Parish Sheriff Steven McCain.
